Do you use 51% Agave?
Hell no. That’s tourist juice. We’re 100% agave or nothing.
Do you mix ENA (Extra Neutral Alcohol) in your agave spirit?
Never. What you’re sipping is raw, real, untamed agave. No shortcuts.
Where do you get your coffee from?
Chikmanglooru. Strong roots, stronger brews.
Does the Picante actually contain cocktail ingredients?
Yeah. Real stuff. Lime, chilli, cilantro, a lil sugar. No bar needed.
Why the name El Goonda?
Because that’s what we are. Unapologetic. Original. Outlaws with class. “El” just adds the spice.
What is El Goonda Café?
Caffeinated, agave-drenched madness. Infused with coffee and just enough attitude. 35% ABV.
Is El Goonda Café a liqueur?
Technically, yeah. But don’t box it. This one bites back.
Is your product a tequila?
Close, but not quite. Tequila’s minimum 51% agave. We’re 100%. Plus, we’re proudly born in India, not bottled clichés.
What is agave spirit?
Agave spirit is a distilled liquor made from the agave plant — a spiky, desert-native succulent mostly found in Central America. Spirits like Tequila® and Mezcal are both types of agave spirits, made under strict rules in specific regions of Mexico. But agave spirit, as a category, is broader, wilder, and more versatile.
So while we’re not bound by Mexico’s labels, we stay true to the craft. Double-distilled. Naturally fermented. Wild by origin.
That’s agave spirit, the Goonda way.
How should I drink Silver / Reposado / Café / Picante/ Strawberry?

Will I get a hangover?
Not if you Goonda smart. Agave hits cleaner than most, but yeah, if you overdo it—you’ll know.

What’s the difference between Silver and Reposado?
Silver = raw with a touch of age. Reposado = four months of mellow badassery. Same roots, different rides.
Does the spirit go bad once opened?
It’ll stay good for a year. But let’s be real—you’re finishing it in a week.
Where do you get your agave from?
Wild-grown on the Deccan plateau. Agave americana, naturalised in India for over a century. We found it growing like a rebel and turned it into a riot in a bottle.
What’s double distillation?
First distil sets the stage. Second one defines the soul. It’s how we take wild and make it wild-er.
Can I throw the bottle in the freezer?
Yeah. It won’t freeze. Neither do we.
I got a cracked bottle. What now?
Was it broken when you got it? Speak to the store. Also, wrap that beauty before travelling. Treat it like the treasure it is.
